We visited the newly opened Metsä Village in Hanno, Saitama, close to Tokyo in Japan.

今月、11月9日にオープンされた《〜メッツァビレージ〜》場所：埼玉県飯能市（東京都付近）

The Metsä Village is a wide area with much open space for children to play, have a good meal with a beautiful lakeside view, a relaxing moment on one of the sunbeds or just enjoy the fresh air.

メッツァビレッジには、豊かな森林、美しい湖、憩いの空間、新鮮な空気など、森林浴を楽しむ素敵なエリアへ行ってきた♪

Metsä is forest in Finnish.

メッツァの意味とは、「〜フィンランド語〜」で森林と言います。

Way to the Metsä Village, possibly the only place in Japan with signposts in Finnish and Swedish.

There are also many shops with Nordic design, snacks and excellent little things to enjoy at home or give as gifts.
