Children - the treasure of Japan

Birthrate in Japan is record low thus the country is working on new approaches to take even better care of these treasures and their families. This gives foreign and domestic companies with new ideas and solutions a good chance to enter a big market.

We participated in a seminar, organized by the Nippon Foundation, and called: “All Children are Japan’s important Children and shall be protected”. The first seminar in this regard had been held in 2015, and now it was time to review improvement and results of a survey asking parents of small children about their satisfaction and feedback on the services they receive.

The survey results were very interesting and reflected the need to respond to the families’ needs better. A positive thing was that many small cities were active to find their own, new approaches to offer families more support.

The seminar panelists agreed that mothers and children in the whole country should be offered more support. Also support for children with special needs and children without two parents, should be upgraded.
